Meet Adam

Adam is a Deaf Licensed Clinical Social Worker who works with Deaf and hard of hearing individuals from diverse backgrounds. Fluent in American Sign Language (ASL), he is committed to creating a therapeutic environment that is accessible, supportive, and respectful.

Adam works with clients experiencing a range of concerns, including trauma, identity development, life transitions, emotional regulation difficulties, stress, and interpersonal challenges. He values building genuine connections with clients and believes therapy should be collaborative, individualized, and grounded in trust.

His clinical approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), person-centered therapy, and strengths-based approaches. He is also trained in Multichannel Eye Movement Integration (MEMI), which may be incorporated into treatment when working with trauma and distressing experiences.

Adam’s goal is to support clients in developing greater self-understanding, strengthening coping skills, and feeling more confident navigating daily challenges. He strives to create a space where clients feel comfortable showing up authentically and engaging openly in the therapeutic process.

He is committed to providing care within a Deaf-centered, linguistically accessible, and culturally affirming therapeutic environment.

EXPERIENCE

Adam has extensive experience providing individual, group, and family therapy within community mental health settings. He has supported clients through crisis intervention, case management, treatment planning, and ongoing therapeutic care across a wide range of clinical presentations.

In addition to his clinical work, Adam previously served as Director of Deaf Services and Language Access at Greater Nashua Mental Health, where he supervised multidisciplinary staff and ASL interpreters, provided clinical consultation, coordinated staff trainings, and supported the development of accessible Deaf mental health services. He also served as Team Coordinator, overseeing case managers and supported employment specialists while contributing to staff development and program support.

Adam brings strong experience working within Deaf mental health systems and values creating accessible, culturally affirming services for Deaf and hard of hearing individuals.
