Meet Chandler

(she, her)

Chandler Gloudeman (she/her) is a Deaf clinical intern at My Deaf Therapy and a Clinical Mental Health Counseling graduate student at Gallaudet University. As a proud Deaf woman and single mother to two CODAs, she brings deep compassion and a real-life perspective to her work with clients. Chandler is passionate about supporting Deaf and hard of hearing individuals across the lifespan, with special interests in trauma recovery, identity development, parenting, and family systems.

Her approach is grounded in trauma-informed, person-centered care. She values creating a safe, collaborative space where clients feel seen, heard, and supported. Chandler recently completed training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and is excited to apply this evidence-based approach to support children, adolescents, and families impacted by trauma. She is especially committed to working with Deaf clients and to honoring each person’s lived experience, cultural identity, and personal journey toward healing and growth.

Before beginning her clinical training, Chandler worked in education, outreach, and advocacy—experiences that continue to shape her commitment to equity and culturally responsive care. She is fluent in both American Sign Language and English and strives to offer a welcoming, affirming space for all clients.
