Meet Ethan

Ethan Moon is a Clinical Mental Health Counseling Intern at My Deaf Therapy and is working toward his Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Gallaudet University, expecting to graduate in May 2026. He also earned his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Gallaudet.
Ethan has a varied background, including working as a Behavior Technician supporting individuals with autism and behavioral challenges, and as a Quality Assurance Manager at a suicide prevention hotline. He’s passionate about mental health and especially about supporting the LGBTQIA+ community. Ethan welcomes clients from all walks of life and strives to create a safe, inclusive, and judgment-free space for everyone—no matter their background, beliefs, race, or identity.
As a Deaf clinical mental health intern fluent in American Sign Language (ASL), Ethan understands the importance of culturally and linguistically accessible care. He has a special focus on supporting the LGBTQIA+ Deaf community. Ethan takes a client-centered approach that empowers individuals to embrace their authentic selves and build resilience. He’s dedicated to making sure you feel heard, respected, and comfortable throughout your mental health journey.
