Meet Hunter

Hunter is a Deaf Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) providing services to clients in Maryland, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and Utah. He earned his Master of Social Work from Gallaudet University and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Utah State University. He is trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
Hunter’s clinical interests center on how individual identities intersect with the social and cultural systems in which people live. He is passionate about storytelling and human connection, and he approaches each client with curiosity, respect, and compassion.
His clinical experience includes working with foster youth in a residential mental health setting, where he supported the development of emotional regulation and coping skills in the context of trauma. He also completed an internship providing clinical counseling to adults and families navigating chronic health conditions and poverty-related stressors. He has experience working with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, and trauma.
Hunter is committed to providing care within a Deaf-centered, linguistically accessible, and culturally affirming therapeutic environment.
