Meet Hunter

(he, him, his)

Hunter is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) providing services to Tennessee residents. He earned his Master of Social Work degree from Gallaudet University and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Utah State University. His clinical interests center around how individual identities intersect with the social and cultural systems they belong to. Hunter is passionate about stories and human connection, and he approaches each client with curiosity, respect, and compassion.

His clinical experience includes working with teenagers in a residential mental health setting, where he supported the development of emotional regulation and coping skills. He also completed an internship providing clinical counseling to adults and families facing chronic health challenges and poverty-related stressors.

In his free time, Hunter enjoys reading, gaming, and solving puzzles. If he could live anywhere, he’d choose a cozy cabin near the beach in the Pacific Northwest. He currently lives in Tennessee with his wife and their dog.

Born Deaf into a hearing family, Hunter is fluent in American Sign Language (ASL) and is committed to providing accessible, culturally affirming care to clients in the Deaf community. He uses he/him/his pronouns.
