Meet Mikaila
(she, her, hers)
Mikaila is originally from Ohio and is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Gallaudet University, with an expected graduation in 2027. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and is currently a counseling intern at My Deaf Therapy.
As a Deaf individual, Mikaila understands the importance of communication access and feeling genuinely heard. She is passionate about creating a welcoming, supportive, and affirming environment where clients feel comfortable being themselves while navigating life’s challenges, personal growth, and self-discovery.
Mikaila is committed to providing care within a Deaf-centered, linguistically accessible, and culturally affirming therapeutic environment.
