DT Bruno is a Deaf Licensed Master Social Worker with a strong background in community health. His clinical focus includes brief therapy, solution-focused approaches, grief and bereavement support, chronic illness management, faith and spirituality work, and supporting clients in navigating deaf experiences. He provides evidence-based tools for stress and pain management, ADHD coaching, emotion regulation through DBT, and mindfulness-based coping strategies.
DT is licensed to practice in Florida, Ohio, Indiana, and Maryland. He is fluent in American Sign Language (ASL) and uses he/him/his pronouns. Originally from New York, he earned his Bachelor of Social Work from Gallaudet University and his Master’s in Social Work from Columbia University.

EXPERIENCE
David (“DT”) Bruno has experience in community mental health as an outpatient therapist and currently teaches Master of Social Work (MSW) courses while providing therapy at My Deaf Therapy. He is committed to providing care within a Deaf-centered, linguistically accessible, and culturally affirming therapeutic environment.
